Leslie M. Sherr
Beloved wife of R. Kirk Sherr (Age 57), died at home in Vienna, Virginia on April 22, 2014, following a long illness.

Leslie was an excellent student and determined early on that she would pursue an international career, receiving a B.A from Georgetown University and an MBA from George Washington University. Her career was always focused on helping others and included working for the U.S. Department of State and working on women’s and children’s health for international organizations. She was a lifelong volunteer and her efforts spanned everything from work in refugee camps in the Philippines to help for immigrant mothers in Northern Virginia.
In recent years she was a real estate agent with Long and Foster in McLean, where she continued to excel despite her illness. Her vivacious personality, quiet determination and amazing culinary skills endeared her to all.
