Mildred B. Lyman passed away on May 11, 2018. She was born to Elva and Earl Bright on April 2, 1919. She had 1 sister, Margaret (Dobbs) and 2 brothers, Bill and Ed Bright. She lived to be 99 years old.
Mildred grew up in Kirkland and graduated from Lake Washington High School. She married her husband George Robert Lyman in 1947. They had 2 children, Steven Robert Lyman and Pamela Jo (Lyman) Bowers. Mildred was born to be a Mother, Wife and Friend and there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for her family. She was a PTA Member, Boy Scout Leader, Campfire Girl Leader and active in her children’s activities; including running the Concession Stand at the Kirkland Baseball Field.
Mildred was proceeded in death by her Husband, George, in 1999 and her Son, Steven, in 2017. She is survived by her Daughter Pam (Mike) Bowers; her Daughter-in-law; Marthalee Lyman, 3 Grandchildren; Paul, Tom (Lana) and Rebecca (Michael); who gave her 7 Great-Grandchildren; Makaylee, Lincoln, Grant, Carter, Avery, Shae’, and Clark.
The Family had a Celebration of Mom’s life by her Gravesite. In lieu of flowers, Mildred asked that people who wanted to do something give a donation to their favorite charity.
