Robert Paul Meyer

Robert Paul Meyer (Bob), age 64, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2011, after a 3½-year battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. Bob was the youngest of 3 sons born to Leo and Wanda Meyer in West Union, Iowa. After serving in the Navy, Bob graduated from Iowa State University, and began working for Hormel. In 1980, Bob was transferred to Kirkland. After leaving Hormel in 1991, Bob owned and operated TJ Cinnamons Bakery in Redmond, Bullseye Bakery in Seattle and Anchor Consulting. Bob loved golfing, biking, boating and 1-putting, but not necessarily in that order. His passion for serving others brought him to Bridge Ministries in 2007 where he coordinated the donation and redistribution of medical equipment. Bob is survived by his wife of 40 years, Judy and his three children: Jere (April), Janene Roudebush (Brian) and Erik (Anousinh); two grandchildren: Lily (5) and Max (2).
