I am wondering if other readers may have the impression (as I do), that Joshua Omernick exhibits a striking resemblance of far too many other unstable people who have committed heinous crimes, after a succession of lesser ones? Joshua’s friend admitted Joshua suffers from mental issues, and his crime record only supports that assumption. When Joshua stated to the Police that he just wanted to “feel what it was like to kill it” (the duck), it makes me suspect this trend may lead to a violent crime involving a human, not a duck, just to see what it feels like. Hello… the warning signs are there, is anyone in our justice system paying attention?
