Instead of finding ways to gouge the public who want to use those venues to get to jobs in Seattle, why isn’t Metro looking at ways to utilize the underused park and rides, such as the Houghton Park and Ride? That lot sits under-used 24-7.

Why doesn’t Metro add some routes from there into Seattle? Or at least, have a shuttle that would run to South Kirkland Park and Ride?

I asked this question of Metro more than a month ago and have received only a response acknowledging receipt of my email, nothing more. Doesn’t seem like rocket science or brain surgery to make Houghton user-friendly, rather than plotting ways to make people pay for the “privilege” of using the busier Park and Rides.
