Next week the 2011 football season begins for Kirkland high schools, as fall practice gets underway. Both Juanita and Lake Washington return to action for the first game of the season on Friday, Sept. 2 with home games.

Next week the 2011 football season begins for Kirkland high schools, as fall practice gets underway. Both Juanita and Lake Washington return to action for the first game of the season on Friday, Sept. 2 with home games.

For the second year the two teams will be playing each other in a conference match. The game will take place on Oct. 21 at Lake Washington.

Here are the schedules for both teams.
