This year several Kirkland girls basketball players were named to the KingCo all-conference team.

Juanita senior Kate Cryderman was named the league’s MVP after her strong senior season.

Teammate Mikayla Jones was named to the first team, along with Lake Washington’s Hunter Hopkins an Peyton Wozeniak. Hopkins was also named the defensive player of the year.

On the second team were Molly Grager, from Juanita, and Whitney Dunlap, from Lake Washington.

Lake Washington coach Cory Shepard was named coach of the year along with Leah Krautter of Bellevue.

Honorable mentions went to Sierra Carlson, Ashlan Applegate and Delanie Agnew of Lake Washington.
