Bellevue scored an overtime goal to knock the Juanita High boys' soccer team from the KingCo playoffs with a 2-1 loss on Monday, May 9, on Mercer Island.

Bellevue scored an overtime goal to knock the Juanita High boys’ soccer team from the KingCo playoffs with a 2-1 loss on Monday, May 9, on Mercer Island.

Juanita finished third overall in the KingCo 3A standings, and came in as the higher seed.

Mercer Island beat Interlake 3-2 (5-4 PKs) to win the league’s automatic bid in the state tournament and the overall No. 2 seed from District 2.

Interlake and Bellevue are scheduled to play on Wednesday, May 11 for a spot in a state play-in game.

It was the final game in a Rebel uniform for Juanita seniors Tyler Sengamphan, Lor Xiong, Bjorn Warford, Omar Paez, Samedy Meng, Oliver Jones, Alexi Pina and captains Millie Zaid and Tanner O’Rourke.
