A big fourth quarter, 16-4 run by Northwest University helped propel the Eagles to a come from behind, 75-70, conference victory over the College of Idaho on New Year's Eve in the J.A. Albertson Center.

A big fourth quarter, 16-4 run by Northwest University helped propel the Eagles to a come from behind, 75-70, conference victory over the College of Idaho on New Year’s Eve in the J.A. Albertson Center.

Northwest U (7-9, 3-4 CCC) was led by Mariah Stacona’s 16 points which included two key three-pointers late in the game. Stacona also had a game high eight assists. Jordan Asher scored 15 points and handed out 5 assists while Kristen Frey scored 13 points. After shooting just 32 percent in the first half, NU heated up and hit 17 of 32 shots for 53 percent.

Petra Lumpert led the College of Idaho (3-9, 2-4 CCC) with 18 points and seven assists. Madison Pilster contributed 16 points and Haylee Burnham scored 13 points and had four assists. C of I won the rebounding battle with a 40-37 margin. C of I was held to 37 percent shooting in the second half, 39 percent for the game.
