The Rebels (1-2) ran for a net of 16 yards on 26 carries against Bishop Blanchet, but junior quarterback JD Worcester made up the difference with his arm.

Worcester threw for 268 yards and four touchdowns, completing 24 of 34 passes without an interception.

Senior Dean Sise, who has committed to play football for the Naval Academy and was selected as a Blue-Grey All-American last week, was one of eight targets for Worcester. Sise caught five passes for 97 yards and two touchdowns.

Sophomore Jake Languin caught six passes for 50 yards and a touchdown. Senior Ravi Regan-Hughes, the big tight end, caught a 31-yard touchdown pass. Sam Rice caught four passes, while Gio Caggiano and Kamil Ettaki both caught three passes.

Sophomore Isaiah Eubanks scored a pick-six.

Junior Andrez Trahan, who has taken the first-team snaps at running back while All-American senior Salvon Ahmed heals from a fractured hand, ran 16 times for 47 yards.

Next, the Rebels have a bye week, and are scheduled to resume play on Friday, Sept. 30 — KingCo Conference opener at Bellevue High School.

Ahmed is expected to reveal his college commitment at Juanita High School at 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept 23. The top five choices, as reported in August, are Stanford, USC, Washington, Oregon and Notre Dame.
