Juanita senior Gabe Green took home the only KingCo title by a Kirkland athlete during last week’s KingCo 4A and 3A/2A track championships at Eastlake High School.

Green won the 300-meter hurdles in 41.01, beating out Bellevue senior Peter Nguyen, who finished in 41.30 and Mount Si senior Chad Makela.

The Juanita boys finished in seventh place in KingCo 3A as a team, accumulating 46 points, while the girls finished sixth with 64 points.

Lake Washington finished ninth with 44 points on the 4A boys side. The girls team finished 11th with 20 points.
