Lake Washington wrestler Grant Haschak can add one more win to his prestigious career.

The senior won the 215-pound weight class at the Tri State Tournament in Couer d’Alene, Idaho Dec. 19-20.

As a team, the Kangs placed 28th. The tournament is one of the most well-known in the region. and featured teams from Washington, Montana and Idaho.

Haschak is the first KingCo wrestler to win at the Tri State Tournament since Mike Sewell of Inglemoor won in 2004.

Lake Washington’s Dylan Ullery was one match away from placing in the top eight in the 145-pound weight class.
