High school basketball wraps up with KingCo all-star game

The high school basketball season wrapped up last weekend with the KingCo all-star game at Bellevue College. Upper and underclassmen from KingCo member schools faced off against each other in a final showdown for the year.

The high school basketball season wrapped up last weekend with the KingCo all-star game at Bellevue College. Upper and underclassmen from KingCo member schools faced off against each other in a final showdown for the year.

On the 3A senior girls team, coached by Scott Bullock, Juanita’s Taylor Paddock played, along with Lake Washington’s Melissa Wilson. Juanita head coach Sam Lee coached the 4A senior girls team.

In the underclassmen match up the 3A girls squad, coached by John Augustavo, featured Juanita’s Mikayla Jones, Kate Cryderman and Molly Grager, along with Kat Whitfield and Hunter Hopkins from Lake Washington.

On the boys side, the senior boys 3A team was coached by Billy Rodgers and featured Juanita’s Kellen Gildersleeve and Lake Washington’s Kramer Taylor. In the boys 3A underclassmen game, coached by J.J. Davis, Kirkland was represented by Lake Washington’s Matt Staudacher, Guy Lynott and Darien Nelson-Henry.
