High school softball players earn All-State honors

Three members of local high school softball teams were given All-State honors. The award, which is voted on by sportswriters from around the state, is compiled by the Tri-City Herald sports department.

Lake Washington’s Kealy McMullen was named to the 4A softball first team as an outfielder.

From Juanita High School both Kylie Sparks and Lexy Faist were named to the second team, Sparks as a pitcher and Faist as an outfielder. The Rebels team finished sixth in state, after an abbreviated tournament due to inclement weather.
