The Inglemoor High School girls softball team defeated Juanita Tuesday in scoring fest, 10-8, in Kirkland.
Inglemoor got on the board first with seven first-inning runs. But the Rebels battled back with two in the first, two in the second, one in the fourth and three in the fifth. The Vikings stayed just ahead of the their opponents and scored an insurance run during the top of the seventh inning.
Juanita was led by Clare Sovacool, who was 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBI. Both Mati Hedlund and Kristina Warford collected two hits during the game for the Rebels.
