The Juanita High School girls soccer team had a chance Thursday to prove that they can play with the best teams in the state. But the 1-0 loss at home to the league leading Islanders dropped the Rebels below .500 on the young season.

Juanita gave up the game’s only goal during the 63rd minute.

The Rebels are 2-3-2 in league play and 2-3-6 overall.
