The Lake Washington baseball team defeated Curtis Tuesday, 9-1, behind the duo of Zach and Nick Johnson.
Nick Johnson was the story on the mound, pitching six strong innings, giving up eight hits, one earned run and striking out five.
The Kangs scored one in the first, five in the fourth, one in the fifth and two in the seventh. Curtis committed three errors during the game.
At the plate, Zach Johnson crushed the ball for a home run and added a double in three at-bats. Theo Alexander also went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
