The Juanita High School girls basketball team defeated West Seattle, 51-48, on Thursday to advance to the championship game of the 3A Sea-King tournament.
Juanita stormed out of the locker room during the first quarter to take a 23-12 lead after just the first eight minutes of play. West Seattle would chip away at that massive lead throughout the next two and half quarters. West Seattle would get the game down to just a one-possession lead but never gained enough momentum to overtake the Rebels.
Juanita was led by Tea Adams with 30 points.
