Juanita baseball scored one run in the seventh inning to break a tie to defeat Liberty, 4-3, on Friday.

Liberty led 2-0 after one inning, Juanita went up 3-2 after four, Liberty tied the game in the sixth and Juanita took it from there.

Pitcher Zach Lofquist got the win with seven innings pitched and five strikeouts. From the plate, he added one hit and one RBI.

Also for Juanita, Tanner Peterson had three hits, Kyle Taylor had two hits, Eddie Owen had one hit and one RBI and Carter Rusch, Taylor Peterson and Ryan Wiese had one hit each.
