The Juanita High School volleyball team defeated Lake Washington in four games Monday in Kirkland.

The Rebels narrowly won a highly competitive first game 28-26 but then dropped game two 25-20. The final two games came down to the final points but Juanita won 26-24 and 25-23 to take the match.

The main reason Juanita pulled out the win was the performance of Lauren Friend and Sarah Brennan, who combined for 31 kills and 17 digs. Marla Encisco finished with 33 assists for the Rebels.
