Shalexxus Aaron and Tea Adams combined for 40 points Wednesday night, as the Juanita High School girls basketball team made it two wins in a row to start the season. The Rebels used a strong first and third quarter to beat Enumclaw, 78-44, at home.
The Rebels got a fast start and never looked back, holding Enumclaw to just five first-quarter points and taking a 38-20 halftime lead. The second half was more of the same, as Juanita doubled up the visitor 22-11 during the third quarter, cruising to the victory.
Aaron led all scorers with 22 points and 10 rebounds, while Adams finished with 18 points. Natalie Kalda added 14 points for the Rebels.
