The Juanita boys basketball team won their final game of the season, beating Interlake in overtime 72-69.
The Rebels, a team that did not advance to next week’s KingCo tournament, was down 15-10 at the end of the first quarter. Juanita outscored the Saints in the second quarter 15-12, with a halftime score of 27-25 for Interlake.
Juanita continued with their momentum in the third quarter, hitting 17 points, followed by a 22 point fourth quarter, enough to tie the game. The Rebels had eight points, while holding Interlake to five in the overtime to earn the win.
Avery Britton and Devan Jackson each ahd 16 points during the win, while Ty Eng added 14. Ryan Reid posted nine, Brett Hamre had eigth, Landyn Milburn posted five and Trevor Andrews had three points.
The Rebels finished the season with a 3-11 league record and 7-14 overall.
The Juanita girls, also playing Interlake, picked up a win 48-26.
The Rebels held a 23-14 lead at the end of the first half, adding 13 points in the third quarter and 12 in the fourth, while holding the Saints to 14 in the second half.
Kate Cryderman had 17 points overall, while Molly Grager had eight points, Bre Carter had six and Mikayla Jones added five. Taylor Lloyd posted four points for the team, while Shannon Brink, Mary Carter, Molly Steck and Mckenzie Waltar all had two points.
The Lady Rebels are currently on top of the KingCo league with a 12-2 league record and 17-3 overall.
The KingCo tournament will begin on Monday for the girls, with higher seeds playing at home.
