Picking up their 11th win of the regular season, and advancing to 6-1 in league games, Juanita beat Interlake Wednesday evening 54-41.
The Rebels are sitting in the top spot in KingCo, just a head of Liberty.
During the game at Interlake, the Rebels jumped out to an early lead with a 13-8 score at the end of the first. Interlake outscored Juanita in the second quarter 14-8, giving the Saints a 22-21 lead at the end of the first half.
Juanita was not about to let the game continue the way the first half ended. The Lady Rebels scored 20 points in the third quarter, while holding Interlake to seven points. The teams evened things out in the fourth with a 13-12 score, but Juanita still left the gym with the win.
Kate Cryderman had 15 points during the game, while Mikayla Jones added 13 to the score. Molly Grager and Winnie Levitt each posted eight for the Rebels, while Mary Carter and Mckenzie Waltar had four points. Bre Carter rounded things out with two points for the team.
Interlake’s top scorer was Margo Parker with 14 points, followed by Cassidy McDermott hitting eight points and Marta Mueller with six points overall.
The Rebels will face Bellevue at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 13 at Bellevue High School.
