The Juanita High School girls basketball team defeated Auburn Riverside Monday, 75-47, during the consolation final of the Rebel Challenge tournament at Juanita High School.

The Rebels began the game with the hot hand, running up a 28-15 advantage during the first quarter and then holding the visitors to just six second -quarter points. Juanita road its 46-21 halftime lead through the second half and never looked back.

The Rebels were led by Sydney Gildersleeve’s season high 18 points. Juanita players Kenzie Waltar (14), Tea Adams (11) and Natalie Kalda (10) all scored in double figures.
