The Juanita High School girls basketball team stifled Sammamish Wednesday, 55-28, in Kirkland.
The Rebels held their visitors to single digits in scoring during the first three quarters of play, including a three-point third quarter. Juanita began the game with a 25-6 lead and never looked back.
The team improved that lead to 38-11 by halftime. Half of the Totems points came during the fourth quarter and one player scored 21 of the team’s 28 points during the game.
Juanita did a good job of sharing the ball, as nine players scored during the contest.
Tea Adams (15) and Natalie Kalda (10) led the Rebels in scoring.
