Juanita earns bragging rights over LWHS golf team

The Juanita High School boys golf team earned some bragging rights in the city of Kirkland, as the Rebels beat Lake Washington by eight strokes Wednesday at Bellevue Municipal Golf Course. Juanita completed the course in 216 strokes, while the Kangs finished with a team score of 224.

Rebels Max Bunnell and Colten Kleis tied during the competition to earn medalist honors, as both shot a three-over 38. Michael Bell of Juanita shot a 40 to take third.

Neil O’Connor was the top Lake Washington athlete, as he tied for fourth place with Rebel Jordan Padilla, both needing 45 strokes to complete the course.
