Juanita finds solid win over Interlake, falls to Liberty
Juanita improved their season record to 5-3 last week thanks to a win over Interlake. The Thursday, Sept. 30 match earned Rebel goalie Niki Fausset her fourth shut out of the season, the most in KingCo.
The Rebels beat the Saints 2-0 at Bergh Field, with Tori Lee scoring the first goal off a penalty kick. She made the second off an assist from Haili Adams in the 51st minute for the win.
Two days earlier the team lost to Liberty 2-0. The hard fought defensive game didn’t let up until Whitney Cain scored the Patriots first goal in the 60th minute. It was followed eight minutes later by a Cassidy Nangle goal for the final score.
