One member of the Juanita men’s cross country team will be representing the team at the state competition this weekend in Pasco.

Caleb Ferrell took 21st place overall at the SeaKing district meet on Oct. 28 at Lower Woodland Park in Seattle. The top 25 individuals qualify for the state meet. Ferrell finished in 16:46 overall.

His teammates also finished the race through the park, including: Santos Zaid in 30th in 17:02, James Bauman at 44th with a time of 17:29, Michael Przystupa in 57th at 18:15, Mitchell Miyashita in 75th with a time of 19:01 and Luke White at 76th with a time of 19:05.

The state meet is held at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco on Saturday, Nov. 6.
