The Juanita High School girls tennis team lost a tough battle with Sammamish 4-3 on Wednesday despite a strong showing by its doubles teams.

The Juanita High School girls tennis team lost a tough battle with Sammamish 4-3 on Wednesday despite a strong showing by its doubles teams.

At No. 1 doubles, the Rebels team of Shelby Hill and Kelsey Glenn defeated the Totem’s Sarah Baker and Demerits Horton, 6-1, 7-5. Juanita’s Antoinette Ngo and Karlee Kedroske beat Maha Ghandour-Ashly Wall, 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.

Emma Lewy-Morgan earned the only singles victory for Juanita, defeating Marine Lebrec, 6-3, 6-4 during the No. 2 singles match.
