Juanita High School junior Salvon Ahmed named Athlete of the Week by WIAA

Juanita High School junior Salvon Ahmed has been named Athlete of the Week by the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA).

Juanita High School junior Salvon Ahmed  has been named Athlete of the Week by the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA).

Ahmed stunned Columbia River last week with 230 rushing yards, six touchdowns, and advancing in the playoffs with a 57-7 victory. Four of his touchdown runs covered 39 yards or more.

In recognition of his accomplishment he will receive a congratulatory letter from WIAA Executive Director, Mike Colbrese, a commemorative WIAA State Athlete of the Week t-shirt and a certificate. Winners are also posted to the WIAA website at www.wiaa.com.
