Juanita High School has hired John Buttle to lead the Rebels boys soccer program.
Buttle was most recently an assistant coach for the Rebels varsity team and now moves into the head coaching position.
Buttle is a graduate of Eastlake High School and Concordia College, where he played soccer.
A life long soccer player, Buttle’s father Steve, was a professional player, playing for the original Seattle Sounders team, as well as a coach for many years.
“We at JHS are very excited about the enthusiasm and integrity he will bring to the program,” said Rebel Athletic Director Tim Crowder. “He will be an excellent leader for our young men.”
The boys soccer season begins in the spring.
