The Lake Washington High girls’ soccer team was held scoreless for the first time this season in a 3-0 conference loss to Liberty on Tuesday, Sept. 26 at Liberty High School in Renton.

The Kangs (3-2-0 KingCo, 4-2-1) are sitting on back-t0-back losses after a five-match unbeaten run to begin the year.

Next, Lake Washington is scheduled to continue conference play against Sammamish (1-4-0, 1-6-0) on Thursday, Sept. 29 at Mac Field in Kirkland.

Mercer Island 5, Juanita 0. The Rebels allowed four goals in the first six matches of the year, but struggled defensively against the top team in the conference on Tuesday on Mercer Island.

Juanita (1-2-2, 2-2-3) returns to Bergh Field for its next match against Interlake on Thursday, Sept. 29.
