Juanita High senior Tea Adams has been nominated as a 2017 McDonalds High School All-American as one of nine prep players from the state of Washington.
Adams, who has already committed to play for San Diego State, leads Juanita in assists, steals and points with 22.1 points per game this season.
The roster will be pared down to 24 players for the All-American games, scheduled for March 29 at the United Center in Chicago.
If selected, Adams would be the second player in school history to play in the McDonald’s All-American game after Micah Downs in 2005.
Shalexxus Aaron was also nominated after a stellar 2015-16 season, but has since transferred to a high school in California.
