The Lake Washington baseball team lost to Bothell Tuesday, 7-2, thanks to two very big home runs by the Cats.
Bothell took a 2-0 lead during the first inning but the Kangs battled back with one during the bottom of the first and one during the bottom of the second.
But Bothell took control, scoring three in the third and one during the fourth to burry Lake Washington. The Cats would add one final run during the seventh inning.
Colin Tremblay was the only big bat for the Kangs, going 2-for-4 with an RBI. Trevor Dunlap’s run of 13 consecutive shutout innings ended with the start, as he picked up his first loss of the year.
Lake Washington will try to get back into the win column today at 7 p.m. as they travel to Woodinville.
