The Lake Washington girls tennis team defeated Liberty 6-1 Thursday at home behind a sweep of doubles.
Leading the way was Chloe Nash and Taylor Lipking with a 6-1, 6-2 victory as No. 1 doubles. The teams of Kim Koshman and Mary Nelson (6-2, 6-1) and Shada Shomali and Marissa Kirk (6-1, 6-2) also earned doubles victories during the meet.
Kang Jess Lund fended off a stiff challenge from Janny Adams after losing the first set 6-4 during the No. 1 singles match. Lund came back to take the match 6-4, 6-3.
Jelena Aleksor won at No. 2 singles 6-1, 6-4, while Amanda Levine took the No. 4 singles match 6-0, 6-1.
The Kangs will host Bothell on Wednesday at 3:45 p.m.
