The teams played a competitive first half, as the Wildcats built a 25-20 advantage by halftime. But the Kang defense stepped up during the second half, holding Mount Si to just five third-quarter points and four fourth-quarter points.

In contrast, the Lake Washington offense came alive during the fourth quarter, scoring 20 points.
