League coaches named five players from Kirkland-area high schools to the KingCo 2A/3A all-conference first team in a recent vote.

Lake Washington High’s Shuma Katori, Matteo Loi and Justin Soto made the first team, along with Juanita’s DJ Duga and Lor Xiong.

Samedy Meng, Omar Paez, Marc Corpus and Tanner O’Rourke of Juanita made the second team, as did Tom Veldee and Billy Wiskel of Lake Washington.

Juanita’s Tyler Sengamphan, Zach Manao, Lexi Pina and Millon Ziad were given honorable mention. Lake Washington’s Arturo Lomeli, Jose Torres, Alex Lundin and Conor Knox also made honorable mention.

Mercer Island junior forward Eric Dreyer won Player of the Year honors. Colin Rigby, also of Mercer Island, won Coach of the Year.

Sammamish High School was given the Sportsmanship Team of the Year award.
