Kirkland’s Hot Dog USA Jump Rope team takes first in Shanghai China competition

Four members of Kirkland's Hot Dog USA Jump Rope team were invited to Shanghai China to compete in the second annual Double Dutch Contest on Sept. 20. The team came in first during the Double Dutch contest and finished second in the speed event.

Four members of Kirkland’s Hot Dog USA Jump Rope team were invited to Shanghai China to compete in the second annual Double Dutch Contest on Sept. 20. The team came in first during the Double Dutch contest and finished second in the speed event.

Head coach Nick Woodard, Brian Hsu, Jesse Crim and LJ LaVecchia, represented the local team and USA in this contest.

After the competition the team stayed a couple more days to participate with the local Shanghai teams for performances and workshops in the local schools.
