The Lake Washington High School boys soccer team doubled up Liberty, 4-2, on Tuesday in Kirkland.
The Kangs scored first during the contest, as Shuma Katori put the ball into the back of the Patriot net at the 17-minute mark. But Liberty stormed back with two unanswered first-half goals to take the lead heading into halftime.
Lake Washington tied the game during the 40th minute, as Tom Beldee scored off a pass from teammate George Lymberis.
Matteo Loi scored the Kangs’ third goal of the game, assisted by both Beldee and Katori.
Katori’s second goal of the game proved to be to much for the Patriots to recover from, as Loi assisted during the 65th minute.
