The Lake Washington High School boys basketball team crushed Interlake 75-44 Tuesday night in Kirkland.
The Kangs began the game strong on defense, doubling up their opponents 12-6 during the first quarter. But the offense came alive, scoring 25 second-quarter points.
The second half was more of the same, as the Kangs took an insurmountable 58-34 lead to start the final eight minutes of play.
Lake Washington was led by Quentin Moore with 21 points, Jamal Muhammad with 14 points and Jeff Staudacher with 13 points.
