The Lake Washington High School volleyball team fended off a frenetic comeback from Liberty, 3-2, on Wednesday.

The Kangs dominated the first two games 25-21 and 25-9. But the Patriots narrowly defeated Lake Washington 26-24 and then force a tiebreaker with a 25-20 win.

The Kangs completed the match victory with a 16-14 victory during the tiebreaker.

No individual stats were reported.
