Lake Washington gymnastics finishes third at KingCo meet | Prep gymnastics

The Lake Washington gymnastics team earned a third place finish last week, during a meet against Mercer Island and Sammamish. The Kangs earned 116 points during the match against KingCo opponents.

The Lake Washington gymnastics team earned a third place finish last week, during a meet against Mercer Island and Sammamish. The Kangs earned 116 points during the match against KingCo opponents.

Holly Sullivan earned a second place tied finish in the vault with a 8.4 score. Sullivan also finished third in the bars with a 6.1.

Head coach Katie Perrigoue said it’s been a good season so far, adjusting to the drop down into the 3A division.

The Kangs hosted Bellevue on Thursday, after Reporter deadline in the last meet of the regular season. Qualified teams and gymnasts will compete in the KingCo meet at Lake Washington High School on Feb. 5.
