Five members of the Lake Washington gymnastics team will be competing in this weekend’s state meet.

The individuals qualified after earning spots during the SeaKing district tournament last Saturday at Sammamish High School.

In the first round, held at 9:40 a.m. on Friday at the Tacoma Dome, Manon Debuire and Amanda Humphries will compete on the bars. In the second round at 10:30 a.m. Humphries, Holly Sullivan and Lauren Hamilton will take part in the beam competition. In round three, starting at 11:20, Sullivan and Jordan Sabine will compete in the floor competition, followed by round four at 12:10 p.m. with Debuire and Sullivan on the vault.

The finalists will be announced at 4:50 p.m. and those qualifying will move on to Saturday’s meet which begins at 11 a.m.

Tickets for one day of the event are $15 for adults, $11 for seniors and students. Tickets for both days are $23 for adults and $17 for students and seniors.
