The Lake Washington boys are debuting in the first week of the Reporter’s basketball poll at No. 10 in the 3A poll and the Juanita girls are at No. 7 in the girls 3A poll.

Editors note: We’re changing it up a little bit this season, with some editorial changes at our other papers making voting on basketball polls this winter a little tricky. In light of that, this season I’ll be posting my picks for the 4A and 3A boys and girls. As it’s just me, take the picks with whatever size grain of salt that you wish. I currently do not cover any 4A teams, and likely haven’t seen many (if any) of the 3A teams play.
