The Lake Washington boys lacrosse team continues to distance themselves from the pack as the team earned a two game conference lead after beating Sammamish Wednesday evening 10-6.
The No. 1 and No. 2 Evergreen Conference teams battled it out at Interlake High School, but Jake Bernstein’s four goals help lift the Kangs to a 12-2 season record. Goalie Luke Lattin had 13 saves during the game.
The team will play it’s last game of the regular season Saturday, May 8 against Klahowya at Klahowya Secondary School starting at 3 p.m.
The team will likely play it’s first playoff game on May 15. If the standings remain the same the team will take on the No. 3 team from the Skagit conference.
