The Lake Washington High School girls basketball team lost to Liberty, 50-38, on Friday in Renton.

Liberty took a one-point lead into the second quarter but a big 12-2 run gave the Patriots a 25-14 lead at halftime. The teams played basket-for-basket during the second half.

The Kangs were led by Georgia Romine-Black with 17 points.
