The Lake Washington High School girls softball team scored early to beat Bellevue, 7-1, at Crestwoods Park on Wednesday.
The Kangs scored six runs during the first two innings and a seventh run during the fourth inning.
Hannah Walker went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a triple, while teammate Cori Meyers was 3-for-4 with two runs scored. Maddie Brown, who picked up the win with four innings pitched and six strikeouts, also finished with a triple for Lake Washington at the plate.
