The Lake Washington youth basketball program will be hosting tryouts for the 2011 youth teams. Students in fourth through ninth grade can try out for the teams.

On Sunday, Sept. 25 tryouts will be held at Kirkland Junior High. The 4th West team and the 6th East team will tryout from noon to 1:30 p.m. while the 5th West and 7th East team will tryout from 2 to 3:30 p.m. The 8th West and 9th East teams will tryout from 4 to 5:30 p.m.

On Monday, Sept. 26 the tryouts will continue at Kirkland Junior High. Monday, the 4th West and 5th East students can tryout from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and the 6th West and 7th East tryouts will be from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

The final day of tryouts will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at either Rose Hill Junior High or Lake Washington. There will be an open gym from 5 to 6 p.m., while the 8th grade team tryouts will be from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. and ninth graders from 7:45 to 9 p.m.
