Northwest 9, which was partially broadcast on ROOT Sports Northwest, was started last summer and features many of the top signalcallers from Washington, Oregon and Idaho. The event ran from Aug. 1 to Aug. 4.

The competition included 24 quarterbacks from Washington, two from Oregon and two from Idaho. Dylan Morris, from Graham-Kapowsin High School in Graham, Wash. won the event.

The local skill players included Alex Indelicato, Dylan Singh and Da’vicious Wilson of Bothell on offense. Juanita’s Dean Sise and Lake Washington’s Colby Coco participated on the defensive side of the ball.

Skill players came from as far away as Montana to participate.

Two local quarterbacks were invited to Northwest 9, but neither were able to attend due to personal reasons.
