Lake Washington High boys soccer beat Juanita High, 2-0, in a crosstown rivalry match on April 28.

The evening started in festive spirits with senior night ceremony for 10 senior Kangs — Jordan Lucero, Sung-Soo Choi, Jonathan Chau, Edgar Iniguez, Tom Veldee, Arturo Lomeli, Baptiste Debuire, Dalton Ferguson, Nate Lewis and Alex Lundin (Jamison Gunhus was unable to attend).

As expected, the local rivalry game was intense and high-spirited. After the game, both teams showed great team spirit by meeting in the center of the field and hugging each other.

Lomeli and Iniguez scored LW’s goals and goalkeeper Devin McGlynn had the shutout.
